It's not the usual fantasy, in fact I call it Fantastic because usually the term fantasy is used with the meaning of "story full of elves and magic" and in my novel there are no elves or magic of any kind. If the ebook sells, I'll find out which readers I wrote it for. And the readers? How will they know if that will be a novel for them? By reading the synopsis and preview pages, of course. They can get an idea. They can understand if the story will be able to grab them, to make them curious, indeed. Create an audience of readers It is no coincidence that I wrote an article that shows a parallel between bloggers and writers : the same and identical thing happens with the blog.
As the blog grows, a community of readers is created. This is what a writer must aim for: to win over those readers, to build his community. There are authors who just get read, regardless of the genre of story they write. By now they have achieved such popularity that the reader will appreciate any novel they decide to publish. Of the concept that is fashionable today among marketers: personal Phone Number Data branding . Those authors are now no longer selling their books, but they continue to sell their name on the cover. We don't think about the ideal reader but about the reader Don't give what I wrote a negative meaning: it doesn't have to be. We can make a name for ourselves – or at least try to make it – and then publish rubbish, we sell anyway, or we can make a name for ourselves and continue to amaze readers. Ultimately, it's just a matter of choice.
I like the second alternative. And to you?New design for Blue Pen Some time ago I also announced that I wanted to redo the graphics of the blog, this time aiming for the so-called responsive design, i.e. choosing a graphic theme adaptable to smartphones and tablets, as well as the desktop. I know it's been a while since that announcement, but there are two simple reasons: I can't create a responsive theme and I don't even intend to learn how to do so I still can't find a theme that satisfies me A friend told me that he sees my blog as a magazine, rather than a simple blog, but it doesn't work for me to turn Blue Pen into what it isn't. This is a blog, not a magazine.
